Hi,

It's June 1, 2014 and probably I must say that this is my month!Hehe, well I will be celebrating my birthday this month and it would be on the first week of June. I will not say yet on when it will be, it's a surprise!Haha..

I want to make this month a very special one for me :) Thank God for giving me another month of this year to celebrate my birth. I want to do something this month for this blog, I hope I could dedicate myself to this idea I have in mind.

I want to write on this blog from June 1, 2014 - June 30, 2014, so it would be a everyday post from me. My masters class will start on June 14, 2014. Then probably it will be a busy Saturday and Sunday. At the end of June 30, 2014 I will have a 30 posts completed. Yay! This is exciting!

Masters Summer Class End

Hi,

I miss u!!!!

Yeah it was 1 month and 14 days to be exact that I was not able to post on this blog! And because of my summer class during Thursday to Saturday plus my online work the whole week eh I was not able to write anything. I concentrated on my studies and work and it ended up very well today :) I had completed 9 units of Masters of Education Major in Educational Management for the whole summer amounting to PHP 6-7, 000. The money spent doesn't matter to me when it comes to educating myself, this is one of my investment for myself that anyone can't take away from me. So if you are planning to pursue or take that course you like, then go ahead, take that as an investment for yourself! Education is something we should be proud to have for ourselves.

I haven't yet received or know what are my grades for those 9 units I take but I hope I performed well for those 3 subjects, but I am confident my grades are higher :)

Today I finish enrolling for this first semester of SY 2014-2015. I enrolled 12 units which is 4 subjects of 3 units each. The class is during Saturday and Sunday only because this course is intended for teachers who is working from Monday to Friday, so it would not be possible to have a class during weekdays, only weekend is possible.

Overall, I must say that I had enjoy studying even though during the afternoon I feel very sleepy listening to the reports of my classmates and the teacher, hehe. But it was all worth it and I had learned a lot from it.

It was 1 week ago that my Masteral's Degree class started and I must say it is not very easy. Why? Well, since it is already a much higher level than my undergraduate years and it is expected that we already know what we are doing. I got a total of 9 units this summer fro SY 2014-2015 which is equal to 3 subjects. Our class is during Thursday to Saturday at 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Each subject has a reports to reported in front of the class with the assigned topic that the teacher give. Luckily I have 2 teachers that is considerate and kind :) thank God!

This week we have no class, yehey! Why? Because as Christians we should give this week to our Lord Almighty who was crucified to save us from our sins. This is the time of the year where we should all repent our sins and start living the life that Jesus want us to be. On Holy Thursday which is today I will join the Visita Iglesia, an activity where we will visit 7 churches within the city of Iligan. I am joining this kind of activity every year with my Sister's and Brother's in Singles for Christ.

M.A.Ed. Enrollment Plus Singles For Christ Speaker

This month  of April I will be expecting a busier month until the end of May. Why?
I enrolled the Master of Arts in Education Major in Educational Management this summer of 2014. The class will start on April 10, 2014 until month of May. It was already 4 years ago that I was not able to enroll with my masters degree because of my work and I help my two cousins to finish their studies in High School and College first. Last month, the second cousin graduated in 4th year high school so I talk to my mom and said it is now my time to pursue my masters. I graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Physics last April 2009 but after that I only teach for a months and was not able to teach again and concentrated with my full time online work.

I miss teaching but being hired in the Department of Education in my city is very hard. I have given up actually for that last 4 years and until now I am starting to question myself if I really wanted to pursue this teaching career. God has been so good to me despite of not letting me teach, He opened doors for me to pursue it even outside a school premise. A friend talk to me to pursue instead my Masters for me not be stuck up with my 4 years degree, she said it is also a good investment. Studying or our education is a good investment to ourselves and it cannot be steal from us, the knowledge and wisdom will be getting will forever be left in our lives. I was convinced by her and agreed to enroll this summer for SY 2014-2015 last April 2, 2014.

I have enrolled 9 units which is equal to 3 subjects with 3 units each. Per unit is equal to PHP 539.84, not expensive for a 1 unit worth. If you multiply 539.84 times 9 units it is equal only to PHP 4858.56 but as of other schools fees like entrance fee, medical, library ect, you will expect that this is not the amount you will have to pay.

The total assessment now that I will pay for Summer SY 2014-2015 is equal to PHP 6756.43. Luckily, I can have a down payment during the enrollment day of PHP 500 to be enrolled officially. :) I will have still PHP 6256.43 to pay. 

After this enrollment I was then informed by one of our leaders in Singles for Christ to be a speaker of our Christian Life Program Talk 2 with the title What is the CLP? This is now what I told you earlier that even though I am still not teaching in a school premise, God open another door for me to preach His gospel with my brother's and sister's in Christ. See? He really does amaze me always with Her power to make things possible without even knowing that I can still impart the knowledge and wisdom He give me. It was today Sunday April 6, 2014 that I did successfully deliver the talk at 1:00 pm in the afternoon. Unfortunately the picture I will be showing you below is not me :( , he is one of our Tito's who deliver the talk 1 and me will be next after him. I can't find the picture of me doing the talk but hope and will sure next time that the Lord will let me experience this again I will not missed any picture of me on it as a speaker, hehe. See picture below as we undergo the Christian Life Program training. But I am sure that it is my back that was taken only among the listeners,hehe, it was me wearing the blue shirt with the long hair beside Sis Tetet who has the orange shirt.

All of this that has happen during the first week of April was very overwhelming but indeed I am very happy because of this memorable experiences. :) I hope this will not be the last post I will be writing this month of April. My class will start on Thursday plus I have a work to do online and at the same time our CLP will start on Sunday April 13, 2014.

Frugal Weekend Fellowship at Dodiongan Falls

It's the last day of March 2014 and before it ends I had an awesome weekend fellowship yesterday March 30, 2014 with my brother's and sister's in Christ of SFC-St Michael's Chapter. Why it is a frugal weekend adventure? Let me tell you further :)

Our chapter scheduled this fellowship one month ago and because of so many things to do in work I was not able to attend activities prior to this fellowship. So when I read the post of our Facebook page, I want to be able to join this time, at first I was hesitant but final decision was made a day before when my friend Irene encourage me to join. Why it is called a Chapter Fellowship? This means that all members can be together and spend time with each other in a place where most of us have not been able to go to yet, well it's my first time to go there, it's my 2nd time already but the thought of going there matters most.

At 9:30 or quarter to 10:00 am all of us meet at the meeting place which is at Barinaut, Iligan City. A habal-habal (cebuano term for Motorcycle) will be the mode of transportation going to Digkilaan, Iligan City where Dodiongan Falls is located. You will only pay PHP 30.00 per person, it was about 15-25 minutes from Barinaut, Iligan City. Then a walking phase will have to do after arriving Digkilaan. So you will walk and cross 2 small rivers. It was about 30 minutes that you will walk to arrived at Dodiongan Falls.

By the way, I spent only PHP 70.00 for the food or the lunch we eat there. Why? Well, we summed our money by my 3 sister's Sis Irene and Sis Chay for the total of PHP 210 for the lechon manok or grilled chicken plus the 2 cups of rice each. It was way much better or a frugal way you will buy foods and divide the total with your friends.

Now we finally arrived at Dodiongan Falls. Dodiongan Falls is 20 meter high fall and located at Digkilaan, Iligan City. It was one of numerous waterfall of Iligan City and resembles of a archangel wings that are awaiting to expand. You can also resembles it to a persons back.

Ok that was it! It was indeed a very very nice weekend and I am very thankful to God for letting me experience this kind of things while I am still single and passionately serving Him through the SFC community. So overall money spent was only PHP 130 :) This is only the fare from Barinaut Iligan City, back and forth plus the food.
